1845 heiratete die Witwe von Joseph Lueginger, Barbara Lueginger, den Brauer Johann Baptist Enzinger,
in dessen Besitz der Keller zum bedeutendsten um die Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde.
Ein „Verzeichnis über sämtliche Sommerbierlager“ von 1853 nennt Enzinger mit 4400 Eimern Bier,
das sind ca. 3000 hektoliter, an der Spitze der 15 ansässigen Brauereien.
Der Sohn Lorenz Adalbert Enzinger (1849-1897) errang in Brauereikreisen Berühmtheit
durch die Erfindung des Bierfilters (1879/80) in seiner Firma in Worms. Weltweit veränderte
und revolutionierte diese Erfindung das Brauen: Das Bier wurde von Trübstoffen und Hefepartikeln
befreit und hielt sich dadurch bei gesteigerter Qualität deutlich länger.
